ACTA Partners With Acart For Public Service Campaign

Ottawa, May 23, 2007 - The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) is partnering with Acart Communications to develop a public service campaign that reinforces the role of the travel professional. The public service announcements encourage travelers to Travel With A Pro.
The public service announcements carry three key messages:
- Your travel agent provides expert advice
- Your travel agent is your advocate
- Your travel agent will find you the best deal
"ACTA's mandate is to educate the general public on the benefits of using travel agents for their travel needs. This message is reflected in the campaign. Although modest in scope, we want to ensure these ads reach a wide audience," said Christiane Théberge, President and CEO. "ACTA is thrilled with this campaign and wishes to thank the ACART team for their excellent cooperation. Their professionalism and knowledge of the industry has certainly made it easy to work with them."

ACTA is working on different partnership agreements to ensure that these ads will be seen by the public. All images contained in these ads will be downloadable from the ACTA's website giving members the opportunity to access them, in turn using them on agency websites, Email blasts, advertising, thank you cards, bookmarks, etc.
