The Challenge The Solution The Result

Acart designed a bilingual look and feel for COMRIF, featuring three blocks containing stylized illustrations that represent water treatment, improved roads and bridges, and the community as a whole. The look and feel uses several shades of green formed from only two different colours, highlighting the fiscally responsible theme and positive environmental outcomes of COMRIF's investments.

Based on the new look and feel, Acart designed an easy-to-read, accessible Web site (www.comrif.ca/www.fimrco.ca) that clearly communicates essential information about COMRIF to partners, communities, and other interested parties. The site features a convenient content management tool, allowing COMRIF representatives to manage site content themselves.

In addition to the site, Acart applied the look and feel to a postcard to deliver information to targeted groups, a roll-up display and podium sign for presentations, stationery pieces, a CD-ROM label, and the ceremonial document that was signed by COMRIF partners at the program's official launch on November 15, 2004. Acart is also applying the look and feel to external event signage, to be placed at sites that benefit from the fund.
